Tyler Winklevoss boasts Gemini victory but has another app installed
The Gemini crypto exchange, in collaboration with the crypto firm Ripple Labs and the payments technology firm Mastercard (NYSE: MA), launched a credit card offering XRP rewards on Aug. 25.
The excitement around the much-awaited credit card within the crypto community is such that Gemini flipped its rival Coinbase (Nasdaq: COIN) on the U.S. Apple App Store.
Well, it is no small feat, given the fact that Coinbase is the largest crypto exchange in the U.S., and Gemini's billionaire co-founder Tyler Winklevoss cannot stop boasting of the latest achievement on X.

Coinbase's protocol specialist Viktor Bunin also took a friendly dig at Winklevoss:
\\"Be so good that your competition has your app downloaded, but not their own.\\"
The Gemini boss took it sportingly and said the Gemini app is going to be even better when he begins using it. \\"Perfect answer,\\" Bunin said, and the banter ended on a friendly note.

The billionaire founder has been very critical of the banking giant for not onboarding Gemini as part of an alleged Operation Chokepoint 2.0 against crypto firms.
Coinbase also flipped Robinhood Markets (Nasdaq: HOOD), a prominent trading app offering stocks and tokenized crypto assets, Winklevoss shared on X.
